2- Is this only for large events or conferences?
Not at all. The tools and strategies work for everything from small workshops to large-scale expos.
3- What if I don’t pass the first time?
You can retake the assessment. We want you to succeed, and we’re here to support your learning.
4- Do I need to pass a test to get certified?
Yes. You’ll need to complete all lessons and pass the final scenario-based assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
5- Why does my certification expire?
This lets us update you on what’s new in Sensory-Friendly event planning so you stay relevant and educated.
6- How does the certification renewal work?
Certified Event Planners can opt to maintain certification by completing the renewal process and paying the renewal fee of $129 every two years.
7- What’s included with my enrollment?

8- Can anyone get the certification even if they are new to this?
You don’t need any prior accessibility training. You just need a willingness to learn and a commitment to doing better.

10- Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. You’ll receive a digital certificate and badge you can use in your proposals, website, or LinkedIn.
11- Is the certification valid forever?
No. Your certification is valid for 2 years. You’ll be offered a renewal path every other year with content updates for a fee of $129 CAD.
