The 55 plus Travelers: Arriving and Thriving Audio Conference is a free audio conference that helps the arts, culture, travel and tourism industries offer exceptional experiences that are customized to visitors and guests who are fifty-five and older.
This audio conference was recorded by the Sensory Friendly Solutions team, including guest hosts. The audio conference sessions share unique perspectives and insights that ensure mature travelers enjoy leisure and travel throughout their lives, and around the world.
Session hosts are Christel Seeberger, Sensory Friendly Solutions, Founder and CEO, Sophie Yang, McGill University, occupational therapy student and Christopher Basmadjian, McGill University, occupational therapy student, along with special guest host Trish Hamilton, broadcaster, for a bonus session.

55 plus Travelers: Arriving and Thriving is for people, businesses and organizations in the travel and tourism industry, as well as arts, culture and entertainment. Great experiences start with understanding your customer. This audio conference explores the specific wants and needs of mature travelers. Expert and seasoned guests share the simple solutions that make all the difference in attracting and retaining the growing market of older travelers.
This audio conference was recorded in the summer of 2021 as part of an initiative by Sensory Friendly Solutions to help arts and culture, travel and tourism hard-hit by Covid-19, as well as mature travelers to return to doing what they enjoy. The content is evergreen and valuable at any time. Partial funding support was received from New Horizons for Seniors.

55 plus Travelers: Arriving and Thriving includes free access to a series of seven conference sessions, plus a welcome from Sensory Friendly Solutions Founder and CEO Christel Seeberger. The audio conference, and all the session are instantly available for listening by signing up. Furthermore, registrants also get immediate access to additional downloadable resources, including a sensory-friendly Tourism Checklist for attractions, a Restaurant Guide to help patrons with hearing loss enjoy dining and two Resource Guides for Vision Loss, one for businesses/organizations, the other for travelers, co-constructed with audio conference guest Shelley Ann Morris.
