Occupational Therapy Student Knowledge Mobilization/Marketing Assistant (remote worker)

Projected Start Date: August 15, 2022

Projected End Date: December 30, 2022 (with a possibility of extension/future employment)

Hours: 10 hours a week; flexible work hours

Location: remote, work from home, anywhere in Canada, on your own laptop

Salary: $19.75 per hour plus 4% vacation and 5.2% statutory holidays

Sensory Friendly Solutions, a B-Corp™ certified social enterprise, is seeking the assistance of an occupational therapy student for a role supporting knowledge mobilization and marketing.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews to tell stories and create content about person-first experiences.
  • Complete literature searches to share evidence that supports sensory-friendly environments and experiences.
  • Craft blog posts, draft social media content.
  • Create short videos to disseminate knowledge.
  • Other duties and responsibilities to support the work of Sensory Friendly Solutions may be assigned.

Knowledge and skills

  • Self-starter.
  • Works well independently and with a remote team across time zones.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Familiarity with WordPress, YouTube, and Vimeo are assets.

Additional Information

Candidates must also be approved by Venture for Canada for this role.
